Online Applications for Post-Matric Scholarships Begin

Udaipur,Online applications for Post-Matric Scholarship schemes for the academic session 2025–26 have started on the SSO Portal through the Scholarship SJE App from December 11. The last date to apply is January 31, 2026.
Joint Director, Social Justice & Empowerment Department Girish Bhatnagar informed that students belonging to SC/ST, OBC, EBC, MBC, EWS, De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic communities, including special schemes like Mukhyamantri Sarvjan Higher Education Scholarship, are eligible.
Applicants must complete One Time Registration (OTR) through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) before applying.

Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria to Visit Udaipur from Dec 20

Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Shri Gulab Chand Kataria will be on a visit to Udaipur from 
He will attend the 33rd Convocation of Mohanlal Sukhadia University on December 21 and inaugurate the Shilpgram Festival in the evening. He will also participate in various programs till December 25 and hold a public hearing at Circuit House on December 24. He will depart for Chandigarh on December 26.

Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Four-Day Udaipur Visit


Uttar Pradesh Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel will be on a four-day visit to Udaipur from December 14 to 17. She will arrive at Maharana Pratap Airport, Dabok, and stay at Shiv Niwas, City Palace, while visiting various locations in the city.

Proposals Invited for State-Level Merit Certificates on Republic Day

Proposals have been invited for awarding State-Level Merit Certificates on Republic Day 2026 under Rajasthan Civil Services Rules.
Additional District Collector (City) Jitendra Ojha informed that proposals must be submitted in the prescribed format by December 22, 2025, 5 PM at the District Collectorate. Required documents include pending inquiry clearance for government employees and police verification certificates for private individuals.

Recruitment Drive for Security Personnel Ongoing

Udaipur, Recruitment camps for Security Guards, Supervisors, and Officers are being organized by SIS Security Training Centre, Udaipur, in coordination with the Indian Security Skills Council.
Camps have been held in Badgaon and Gogunda, while the next camp will be organized at Jhadol Panchayat Samiti on Saturday. Eligible candidates aged 19–45 years, with minimum 10th pass qualification, can apply. Selected candidates will receive one-month training followed by placement in major industrial and private establishments.
