Udaipur: Udaipur received significant recognition at the Ninth State Convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad. During the convention held in Kota, noted social worker, literature enthusiast, and nationalist thinker Jaidev Singh Ujjwal was entrusted with the responsibility of Co-Convenor at the Divisional Level of the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad.
The inaugural session of the convention was graced by Om Birla as the Chief Guest. The event featured deliberations on literature, culture, organizational development, and national consciousness. New responsibilities were assigned to office bearers at the state, divisional, and district levels.
National Head of the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Kiran Bala 'Kiran', stated that Jaidev Singh Ujjwal’s appointment is a matter of pride for the Udaipur division. She highlighted his long-standing association with literature, social service, and nation-building activities. His active contribution to literary and social causes, coupled with his commitment to Indian culture and national values, has earned him a distinguished identity.
Literary scholar Dr. Anju Beniwal expressed confidence that under his leadership, the activities of the Sahitya Parishad would become more effective, expansive, and people-oriented.
Various sessions of the convention featured insightful addresses by Dr. Pawanputra Badal, Dr. Indushekhar Tatpurush, Dr. Vipin Chandra Pathak, Bharat Thakre, Dr. Annaram Sharma, Vishnu Sharma Harihar, and Keshav Sharma, who shared their perspectives on literature, organizational development, and nation-building.
Literary figures, academicians, and volunteers from across Rajasthan participated in the convention and collectively resolved to strengthen literature as a powerful medium for national awakening and cultural enrichment.
