Charan Mahasabha Presidential Election Voting on June 21

Udaipur: Voting for the election of the President of the Charan Mahasabha will be held on June 21, 2026, at the Hanuman Temple premises, Bhopal Charan Hostel, Surajpol, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Counting of votes will commence immediately after polling, and the results are expected to be announced late in the evening.

Voters from the Charan community residing in the districts of Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, and Rajsamand will exercise their franchise in the election. Approximately 2,200 voters are expected to decide the next President of the organization.

Carrying an Aadhaar Card will be mandatory for casting a vote. Two candidates are contesting for the post of President: Retired CI Narendra Singh Soda (Rabcha) and Bheru Singh Soda (Didwana).

According to the constitution of the Charan Mahasabha Institution, the elected President will serve a three-year term. The President will also have the authority to nominate office-bearers to various positions and must announce the executive committee within one month of assuming office.

For the smooth conduct of the election process, Narpat Singh has been appointed as the Observer, while Jabbar Singh and Mahipal Singh will serve as Election Officers.
