A Musical Evening Featuring Mukesh’s Timeless Songs: Shri Chitragupta Sabha Celebrates His 103rd Birth Anniversary

Udaipur | Shri Chitragupta Sabha (Mathur), Udaipur, organized a grand event titled "Mukesh Night – An Evening of Songs" at the Atal Auditorium in Hiran Magri to mark the 103rd birth anniversary of the legendary Hindi film playback singer, the late Mukesh Chand Mathur. During the program, community members paid a soulful musical tribute to the singer by performing his timeless songs.

The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the offering of floral tributes and garlands to the portraits of the revered deity Shri Chitragupta Ji Maharaj and the late Mukesh. Following this, a musical evening was held where over 28 artists from the community captivated the audience by performing timeless songs such as "Woh Tere Pyar Ka Gham," "Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai," "Main Dhoondhta Hoon Jinko," "Meri Tamannaon Ki Taqdeer," "Hum To Tere Aashiq Hain," "Zindagi Khwab Hai," "Chal Mere Dil," "Dil Tadap-Tadap Ke," "Ek Din Bik Jayega," "Jo Tumko Ho Pasand," "Chandan Sa Badan," "Gore-Gore Chand Se," "Kya Khoob Lagti Ho," "Yeh Mera Deewanapan Hai," "Dum-Dum Diga-Diga," "Kabhi-Kabhi Mere Dil Mein," "Zindagi Ki Na Toote Ladi," "Sawan Ka Mahina," "Ibtada-e-Ishq Mein," "Maine Tere Liye," "Deewanon Se Yeh Mat Poocho," "Dheere-Dheere Bol," "Main Pal Do Pal Ka," "Waqt Karta Jo Wafa," "Kahin Door Jab Din Dhal Jaye," "Mujhko Is Raat Ki Tanhai Mein," "Ruk Ja O Jane Wali," and "Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Pe Ho Nisaar."

During the event, senior members of the community formally launched the "Family Directory-2026" following traditional rituals. Speaking on the occasion, Sabha President Bhuvneshwar Mathur stated that the objective of the program was to bring community members together on a single platform while also passing on the immortal musical legacy of the legendary singer Mukesh to the new generation. He remarked that the new family directory would further strengthen mutual contact, cooperation, and organizational unity among community members.

The Sabha President expressed gratitude to all the patrons, community members, and artists who contributed to the program's success and urged them to continue their support in the future. General Secretary Dinesh Mathur extended his thanks to all executive committee members, artists, and the community members present. Participants included Narendra Mathur, Dharmishtha, Rajiv, Sudhir, Satish & Anupama, Jagdish Narayan, Shyam Lal, Rajni & Ravindra, Gyanesh, Amit, Sudha, Kuldeep, Amar, Vikas & Shreya, Seema, Chitransh, Tilkesh, Yugal Mohit & Preeti, Anuradha, Preeti, Seema & Piyush, Virendra, Yugal Moomal & Gaurav, Chandrakala, Pooja, Lakshmi, Vijay, and others.

The event concluded on a soulful note with group songs presented by the women of the community. The program was conducted in an impressive and engaging manner by Rajkumar Mathur, Cultural Secretary Yogita Mathur, and Anuvak Mathur. The ceremony saw an enthusiastic turnout comprising community elders, youth, women, and a large number of community members.
