Udaipur: On the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), Udaipur, contributed an assistance amount of ₹30,000 for soldiers’ welfare. The amount was handed over to the District Soldiers’ Welfare Office, Udaipur, through a demand draft.
NSS–CTAE In-charge and Programme Officer Vivek Meena informed that the amount was collected with the support of NSS volunteers. The demand draft was formally presented to the District Soldiers’ Welfare Office by volunteers Abhishek Doriya, Himanshu Saini, Kirti, and Akhista Upadhyay.
The contribution was made to mark Armed Forces Flag Day and will be utilized for the welfare and upliftment of serving soldiers, ex-servicemen, and their dependent families. He described this initiative by the NSS volunteers as a strong example of patriotism, social responsibility, and dedication to national service.
