Udaipur: In view of the upcoming International Yoga Day (June 21, 2026), a Yoga Protocol Practice and Meditation Session was organized on Monday morning at Fisheries College, Udaipur. The program was conducted in collaboration with Heartfulness Udaipur and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
During the session, certified Heartfulness trainers Dr. Rakesh Dashora, Center Coordinator, Udaipur; Dr. Devi Lal Chandel; and Dr. Subodh Sharma, Heartfulness Trainer and former Dean, guided participants through simple yoga practices, pranayama, relaxation techniques, and Heartfulness meditation. The trainers highlighted the importance of regular yoga and meditation in promoting physical health, mental balance, emotional well-being, and enhanced concentration among students.
On the occasion, it was informed that the Heartfulness Institute is working in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, to promote yoga and holistic health awareness across the country. The speakers also shared that Heartfulness and the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the holistic development of students and teachers, value-based education, and wellness-oriented activities.
The successful organization of the program was made possible through the efforts of Dr. M.L. Ojha, Professor at Fisheries College; Office Assistant Sunil Bhatnagar; Library In-charge Aarti Verma; Prabhu Lal; Jitendra; and Babu Lal, along with Dr. Rakesh Dashora, Center Coordinator of Heartfulness Udaipur, and his team. The college administration appreciated the initiative and described such programs as beneficial for the overall development of students.
