Bhilwara: In a significant step toward enhancing quality, innovation, and academic excellence in higher education, Sangam University, Bhilwara, has signed a prestigious Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UGC–Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU), Ajmer.

The collaboration is designed to promote faculty development programmes, encourage joint research initiatives, facilitate the exchange of academic and technical knowledge, and foster greater participation in educational activities. The partnership will also create enhanced training and development opportunities for students, paving the way for stronger academic and institutional growth.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Suresh Agrawal, Vice-Chancellor of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer; Prof. Karunesh Saxena, Vice-Chancellor of Sangam University; Dr. Alok Kumar, Registrar of Sangam University; Kailash Chandra Sharma, Registrar of MDSU, Ajmer; and Prof. Shiv Prasad, Dean of Management and Director of MMTTC.

University officials described the agreement as a milestone that will open new avenues for academic collaboration, faculty empowerment, research excellence, and institutional development. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to create a dynamic ecosystem that promotes innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional growth.

The collaboration gains additional significance in light of Sangam University's recent establishment of Rajasthan’s first Spoken Tutorial Skill Accelerator Lab in association with Spoken Tutorial, EduPyramids, SINE, and IIT Bombay. The state-of-the-art facility is expected to provide students of MDSU Ajmer with opportunities to participate in advanced academic and technical training programmes while acquiring industry-relevant skills.

The initiative is also expected to serve as a strong bridge connecting academia, industry, and startups. By aligning educational outcomes with industry requirements, the partnership aims to enhance employability, encourage innovation, and nurture entrepreneurial talent among students.

Academic leaders from both institutions expressed confidence that the collaboration will play a transformative role in promoting quality higher education, empowering educators, and expanding skill-based learning opportunities. The MoU is expected to contribute significantly to preparing students for the evolving demands of the modern workforce while fostering a culture of research, innovation, and excellence.
