486th Birth Anniversary of Maharana Pratap Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at Bhupal Nobles Institution

Udaipur: The 486th birth anniversary of the pride of Mewar and legendary warrior Maharana Pratap was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm at Bhupal Nobles Institution as part of the week-long commemorative programmes dedicated to his legacy.

On the occasion, members of the Vidya Pracharini Sabha Executive Committee, deans, faculty members, and staff paid floral tributes at the statue of Maharana Pratap located at Pratap Chowk within the institution premises. They remembered his indomitable courage, sacrifice, valor, and unwavering dedication to the motherland.

Addressing the gathering, Managing Director Mohabbat Singh Rathore said that the glorious history of Mewar is a repository of the achievements and contributions of noble warriors, great philanthropists, virtuous women, and hardworking sons of the soil. He emphasized that by remembering Maharana Pratap’s military leadership, bravery, administrative excellence, patriotism, resilience in adversity, and love for freedom, people can draw inspiration to make their own lives meaningful and purposeful.

Rathore further stated that Maharana Pratap’s governance reflected an inclusive form of democracy within a monarchical system, where every section of society had a role and representation. He remarked that this spirit is symbolically reflected today in the grand statue of Maharana Pratap installed outside India’s Parliament, the world's largest democratic institution.

On the occasion, Joint Secretary Rajendra Singh Tana, Finance Minister Shakti Singh Karohi, Executive Committee Members Kuldeep Singh Tal, Mahendra Singh Pakhand, Mahendra Singh Patiya, Kamleshwar Singh Kachher, and Yuvraj Singh Bemla, along with Vidya Pracharini Sabha members Gajendra Singh Ghatiyawali, Chandraveer Karelia, Sudarshan Dev Singh Karohi, Harshvardhan Singh Bankoda, and Ateet Singh Bhati, paid floral tributes and recalled Maharana Pratap’s ideals of sacrifice and heroism.

Also present were Institution President Prof. Chetan Singh Chauhan, PG Dean Dr. Prem Singh Rawlot, Controller of Examinations Mohan Singh Rathore, Dean of Science Faculty Dr. Ritu Tomar, Dean of Arts Faculty Dr. Madhavi Rathore, and Dean of Commerce Faculty Rajendra Singh Shaktawat, who joined in paying homage to the great warrior king.
