Merta Peethadhishwar Visits Shri Pitambara Ashram, Calls for Collective Efforts for Spiritual Renaissance

Banswara: Spiritual thinker and Merta Peethadhishwar of the Ramsnehi Sampradaya, Sant Shri Ramkishor Ji Maharaj, emphasized the need for collective and dedicated efforts to preserve and promote the traditions of religion, spirituality, and Sanatan culture. He stated that active participation from all sections of society is the need of the hour to realize the vision of a spiritual renaissance.

Sant Ramkishor Ji Maharaj expressed these views during a Dharma Chetna Discussion Gathering held at Shri Pitambara Ashram, which is operated by the Gayatri Mandal. On this occasion, prominent saint Sant Shri Ramnivas Shastri Maharaj and the patron of Gayatri Mandal and saint of Bada Ramdwara, Sant Shri Ramprakash Ramsnehi Ji Maharaj, also shared their views.

Sant Ramkishor Ji Maharaj and other saints visited the ashram, offered prayers before the deities, and toured various sections, facilities, and premises of the ashram. They appreciated the Gayatri Mandal team for the remarkable development and expansion of the ashram within a short period.

He expressed satisfaction over the various regular religious activities conducted by the Gayatri Mandal at the ashram, including daily rituals, special ceremonies, yajnas, and selfless spiritual practices. He also highlighted the importance of training programs related to ancient knowledge traditions, research activities, astrology, and awareness programs on traditional sciences for society, the region, seekers, and devotees.

Center for the Promotion of Sanatan Culture

Renowned storyteller and successor of the Merta Ramsnehi Peeth, Sant Shri Ramnivas Shastri Maharaj, described religious and spiritual activities as meaningful pillars for public awareness and the promotion of human values. He expressed confidence that the Gayatri Mandal Ashram would emerge as a major center for the preservation and promotion of Sanatan traditions and culture.

The patron of Gayatri Mandal, Sant Shri Ramprakash Ramsnehi Ji Maharaj, provided detailed information about the organization’s establishment, the tireless efforts of its founding president Brahmarshi Pandit Mahadev Shukla, and the various activities and achievements of the Mandal and Shri Pitambara Ashram.

Rare Oriental Reference Library Appreciated

During his visit, Sant Ramkishor Ji Maharaj also toured the Oriental Studies Reference Library operated by Gayatri Mandal at the ashram. He examined the collection of ancient literature and rare manuscripts and described it as a unique treasure of knowledge for seekers and scholars.

He noted that the library would benefit researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts interested in ancient and nearly extinct knowledge traditions.

On this occasion, Sant Ramnivas Shastri, Sant Ramprakash Ramsnehi Ji Maharaj, and social thinker Prakash Bhavsar described the library as a major achievement for the Vagad region, saying it would help preserve and pass on rare knowledge to future generations.
