Diwali and Monthly Get-Together of M.B. College Alumni Council Held at Vigyan Samiti Auditorium

Udaipur: The Diwali and monthly fellowship meeting of the M.B. College Alumni Council was organized at the Vigyan Samiti Auditorium with great enthusiasm. The event began at 11:00 AM after a light breakfast, under the chairmanship of Engineer R.K. Chatur, with Dr. K.L. Kothari as the Chief Guest and Shri Ganesh Dagliya as the Special Guest. Senior member Shantilal Bhandari graced the dais.

The meeting was conducted by Shri Prakash Tated, who read out the report of the previous meeting, which was approved by the members. General Secretary Shantilal Bhandari extended a warm welcome to everyone and conveyed heartfelt Diwali greetings. A poetic message from the President, Professor Maheep Bhatnagar, was recited by Ravindra Bhatnagar, adding a literary touch to the gathering.

In a special gesture, Shri Ganesh Dagliya was honored with a garland, shawl, and citation on the occasion of completing 80 years of age, recognizing his invaluable contribution and seniority within the council.

Media Coordinator Professor Vimal Sharma informed that a vibrant cultural program followed the felicitation ceremony. Members including Smt. Sita Sharma, Indermal Patwa, Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Manju Sisodia, Chand Singh Jain, Pushpa Dhakad, C.S. Chhajed, Ravindra Bhatnagar, Shiv Ratan Tiwari, Dr. Naresh Sharma, Suresh Sisodia, Dr. S.L. Jain, Prakash Tated, and M.P. Jain entertained the audience with songs, poems, and humorous performances, spreading festive joy.

Special guest Shri Ganesh Dagliya shared memorable experiences from his life, while Chief Patron Dr. K.L. Kothari recited a poem dedicated to the festival of lights and blessed all present. Engineer R.K. Chatur also addressed the gathering and presented a poem reflecting festive spirit and nostalgia.

The program concluded with a two-minute silence in memory of the late senior member Shri Prabhakar Shah, followed by a group photograph and a delicious fellowship lunch. The event beautifully combined nostalgia, celebration, and camaraderie among the alumni members.
