Vidyapeeth – Abhyuday Annual Festival 2025 Begins with Colorful Performances

Tribute to Dharmendra through “Operation Sindoor” drama and songs mesmerizes audience

Udaipur: The Abhyuday Annual Festival 2025 of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth’s constituent institution, Lokmanya Tilak Teacher Training College, commenced with great enthusiasm at the college auditorium. The inaugural ceremony was marked by floral tributes and lamp lighting before the idol of Goddess Saraswati by Vice-Chancellor Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Kuladhipati Kul Pramukh Bhawar Lal Gurjar, special guest Dr. Shyam S. Singhvi, Founder of Saral Blood Bank, and Principal Prof. Saroj Garg.

True to the spirit of the festival, students brought to life various facets of Indian culture through vibrant cultural performances, beginning with a Ganesh Vandana. The theatrical presentation “Operation Sindoor” and a dramatic depiction of the four eras of Indian Sanatan culture left the guests and audience spellbound. Students delivered energetic performances on Rajasthani, Punjabi, and remix songs. The event also featured a musical tribute to veteran actor Dharmendra, with evergreen and popular songs filmed on him receiving warm appreciation.

During the ceremony, winners of various competitions organized by the college were honored with certificates and mementos. Addressing the gathering, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot emphasized that a balance between science, technology, and human sensitivity is essential for progress and holistic development. He highlighted the importance of Indian principles, traditions, and family values, urging student-teachers to understand the relevance and utility of human values in contemporary life. He encouraged students to remain mindful and responsible in every action so that its positive impact reflects in their lives, and motivated youth to pursue their dreams with consistency and complete dedication.

At the outset, Principal Prof. Saroj Garg welcomed the guests and presented the annual report of the institution. The program was conducted by Cultural In-charge Dr. Harish Chandra Chaubisa, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Balidan Jain.

The event was attended by Dr. N. Mogra, Dr. Ami Rathore, Dr. Balidan Jain, Dr. Harish Chandra Chaubisa, Dr. Bhuralal Shrimali, Dr. Anita Kothari, Dr. Sarita Menaria, Dr. Himmat Singh Chundawat, Dr. Rohit Kumawat, along with department heads and students, who thoroughly enjoyed the celebration.
