Udaipur: The Venkateshwar Institute of Pharmacy, under Sai Tirupati University, Udaipur, successfully organized its annual Sports Week from March 17 to March 20. The four-day event featured a wide range of exciting sports competitions and fun activities.
The competitions included chess, carrom, volleyball, badminton, 100m and 200m races, tug of war, and esports. Alongside these, several fun events such as lemon spoon race, sack race, musical chair race, treasure hunt, and reel-making competition were also conducted.
More than 150 participants took part in various events, creating an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere across the campus throughout the program. Winners of the competitions were honored with trophies, medals, and certificates.
Gold medal winners included Rajyavardhan Singh (chess), Priyanshu Tailor (carrom), Chandan Singh Purohit and Priyanka Kharadi (100m race), Shivam Lohar (200m race), Jitendra Sirvi and Nikita Kumari (badminton), Rakesh Kumar, Kalpesh Garg, Bhavesh Sharma, and Vishal Kumar (esports), Shauryaveer Singh and Monica Katara (lemon spoon race), Chandan Singh Purohit (sack race), Mukesh Chaudhary and Bhavana Menaria (musical chair race), and Deepak Jogi (reel competition).
The third semester team won in volleyball, while the seventh semester secured gold medals in tug of war and treasure hunt.
The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Pakhuri Mehta and Dr. Ayush Garg. Addressing the gathering, the Principal of the institute, Prof. Khemchand Gupta, emphasized the important role of sports in the overall development of students.
The Sports Week proved to be successful in promoting holistic development and teamwork among students.
