Special Session on Cyber Crime Awareness आयोजित at DPS Udaipur

A special awareness session on cyber crime was organized at Delhi Public School, Udaipur, for around 1500 students from classes 9 to 12. The session was conducted under the Transforming Tuesday initiative run by the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority.

The session was addressed by Special Judge of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Mr. Manish Agrawal. While interacting with the students, he highlighted that today’s students are increasingly facing various cyber-related challenges. He informed them about legal provisions such as the POCSO Act 2012 and the Information Technology (Cyber) Act 2000, which can help them safeguard themselves against such issues.

He further explained that misuse of digital platforms and social media can disturb students’ mental peace and concentration, directly and indirectly affecting their studies and personality development. He emphasized the need to remain alert, aware, and educated about the rising cyber crimes, and stressed that responsible use of mobile phones is the key to prevention.

Pro Vice Chairman Mr. Govind Agrawal, while sharing his views, stated that it is extremely important for students to be aware of these legal provisions so that they can seek help when needed and ensure their safety.

Principal Mr. Sanjay Narwaria welcomed the guest by presenting a memento and traditional honor. He assured that the school administration is always vigilant and committed to the safety of its students. He encouraged students facing any cyber-related issues to approach their teachers without hesitation. He also expressed gratitude to Mr. Manish Agrawal for his valuable guidance.
