Addressing the gathering, Executive Director Ankit Agrawal said that the success of Geetanjali Hospital is deeply rooted in the hard work, dedication, and service spirit of the nursing staff. He stated that the hospital’s strong reputation, from Udaipur to Jaipur and across other states of the country, has been built with the significant contribution of the nursing team. He praised the discipline, work ethics, and quality of care provided by the nursing staff, saying that their standards are comparable to international levels.

He especially acknowledged the dedication of female nursing staff, who continue to balance family responsibilities while serving patients day and night with commitment and compassion. He further announced that training programs and professional courses for nursing staff would be upgraded in the future to make them more advanced and aligned with modern healthcare standards.

Vice Chancellor Rakesh Kumar Vyas described nursing not merely as a profession, but as a symbol of service, sensitivity, and compassion. He said that when nursing staff work together with the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood, it creates a family-like atmosphere at the workplace, strengthening cooperation, trust, and mutual respect. According to him, a positive and harmonious environment directly contributes to better patient care and improved service quality.

CEO Rishi Kapoor stated that International Nurses Day is an occasion to honor dedication, service, and compassion. Calling nurses the “soul of the hospital,” he said that the nursing team plays the most vital role in providing emotional support to patients alongside medical treatment. He added that Geetanjali Hospital is prioritizing nursing empowerment by focusing on skill enhancement, work ethics, and recognition. The hospital management is continuously working towards providing advanced medical training, modern technologies, and a safe working environment for nursing professionals.

Chief Nursing Officer Vijendra Singh Rathore said, “Nursing is not just a profession, but the strongest identity of service, dedication, compassion, and trust.”

On the occasion, Geetanjali College and School of Nursing also organized a blood donation camp and an exhibition based on the theme “Biofusion” to mark International Nurses Day 2026. Students, faculty members, and members of the public participated enthusiastically in the event.

A total of 116 units of blood were donated during the blood donation camp, aimed at spreading awareness about blood donation and promoting the spirit of humanitarian service.
