Jaipur :The South Western Command Cycle Rally proudly reached its grand finale today with a majestic Flag-In Ceremony at the Jaipur Military Station.  The event was graced by Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command and Mrs Barinder Jit Kaur, Regional President, Sapta Shakti AWWA who, along with formation commanders and distinguished dignitaries, actively participated in the celebrations.  Mrs Barinder Jit Kaur flagged in the cycle rally, marking the formal culmination of this inspiring endeavour.

In a powerful gesture of leading by example, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh himself joined the cyclists and rode the final stretch of the rally, drawing enthusiastic applause and reaffirming the ethos of leadership through action.  Addressing the gathering, the Army Commander extended heartfelt appreciation to the Cycle Rally Team for their unwavering dedication, endurance and commitment.  He commended their spirited efforts to inspire students, veterans and citizens along the route to embrace fitness, discipline and patriotism.

Commencing from Fazilka on 09 December 2025, the rally covered an extraordinary distance of 800 kilometres over seven days, traversing two states, six districts and 15 villages, before triumphantly reaching Jaipur on 16 December 2025.  The rally paid tribute to the valour and supreme sacrifices of the Armed Forces on the occasion of Vijay Diwas, as part of Army Day Parade 2026 events.  Throughout this monumental journey, the team engaged with local youth and communities through diverse outreach initiatives, strengthening the Army’s message of nation-building, social harmony and national integration.

Standing tall as a beacon of discipline, teamwork and national pride, the rally truly embodied the spirit of its motto:

"Seemavaasiyon ka Samarthan, Sena ka Sanrakshan."
