Ganganagar Off to a Winning Start at the State-Level IT Cricket Mahakumbh

Jaipur/Sri Ganganagar: The **IT Cricket Mahakumbh 2025–26** for employees of the **Department of Information Technology and Communication** commenced on Saturday in **Jaipur district**.

In the **opening match of the tournament**, the **Sri Ganganagar team “Ganganagar Rising Stars”**, led by team captain **Vikram Gill (Information Assistant)**, registered a शानदार victory by defeating the **Udaipur team by 129 runs**.

The victory was powered by an outstanding **unbeaten century of 102 runs** by **Durgesh Awasthi, Assistant Programmer**, who was declared **Player of the Match**, along with a lethal bowling spell by **Manoj Pensiya, Information Assistant**, who claimed **5 wickets**.

With this impressive performance, the Ganganagar team made a **winning start** to the prestigious state-level tournament.
