####Rajasthan Hoteliers Club Submits Memorandum Opposing Trade License Fee Hike

Udaipur: The Rajasthan Hoteliers Club has submitted a memorandum to the District Collector expressing strong opposition to the recent increase in trade license fees. Through the memorandum, the club highlighted the concerns and challenges faced by the hotel industry and urged the administration to reconsider the revised fee structure.

Club representatives stated that the hike in license fees would place an additional financial burden on hotel operators, particularly affecting small and medium-sized establishments. They emphasized that the increased costs could create operational difficulties for many businesses in the hospitality sector.

The delegation appealed to the administration to review the decision in light of the current circumstances of the tourism and hospitality industry. They argued that the sector is still facing various economic challenges and that any additional financial pressure could hinder its growth and sustainability.

Presenting a united front, the Rajasthan Hoteliers Club team collectively raised its concerns before the district administration and called for positive intervention to safeguard the interests of the hotel industry. The club emphasized that the hospitality sector serves as a vital pillar of the tourism economy and generates employment for thousands of people, both directly and indirectly. Therefore, any increase in operational costs could adversely affect the industry's growth and its contribution to the local economy.

The memorandum was submitted in the presence of the club’s founder Rajnikant Sharma, Narendra Mehta, Club President Karan Singh Champawat, Vice President Lal Singh Jhala, and several other members. The representatives unanimously stressed the need for addressing the concerns of hotel entrepreneurs and expressed confidence that the district administration would carefully consider the industry's viewpoint and take an appropriate decision in the interest of trade and tourism.
