Mukesh Madhwani Urges Government for Financial and Administrative Support for ‘Music Museum’ in Upcoming Budget

Udaipur – With anticipation building across Rajasthan for the upcoming state budget, an important demand has emerged to preserve the rich musical heritage of Mewar.

Mukesh Madhwani, Founder President of Suron Ki Mandali, Udaipur, has appealed to the state government to include financial provisions in the forthcoming budget for establishing a **“Music Museum” in Udaipur**, along with necessary administrative support.

Madhwani stated that the initiative aims to safeguard Mewar’s historic and folk music traditions and pass them on to future generations. While land for constructing the museum is already available, government funding and administrative assistance are crucial to realizing this culturally significant and ambitious project.

He further informed that a detailed proposal regarding the project was sent around two weeks ago to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Additionally, Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Rajasthan Tourism Department have also been informed to expedite the project.

Madhwani emphasized that Udaipur, being an international hub of art, culture, and tourism, would greatly benefit from a dedicated music museum. Such an establishment would not only honor local artists but also become a major attraction for tourists and music enthusiasts from across India and abroad. He expressed confidence that the government would prioritize this culturally significant project in the budget, giving Udaipur a new and historic recognition in the world of music.
