Orientation Workshop on Gender Sensitivity आयोजित

Udaipur: A two-day **Orientation Workshop on Gender Sensitivity** was organized at the **Harish Chandra Mathur Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration** under the aegis of the **Department of Women Empowerment** and the **Department of Women and Child Development**. The workshop was conducted by the **Kalibai Bhil Women and Child Development Research Institute** and focused on a gender sensitivity module through interactive discussions and dialogue.

The workshop was held in the presence of **Sanjay Joshi, Deputy Director, Department of Women Empowerment**. Sessions on gender sensitivity were conducted by **Dr. Kailash Brijwasi**, Director of Jatan Sanstha; **Marudhar Singh**, Training Manager; and **Devansh Pandey**, Trainer from Jatan Sanstha. **Professor Gayatri Tiwari** and former *Pracheta* **Manju Choubisa** were also present on the occasion.

The program was coordinated by **Vimla Veerwal**, Gender Specialist from the Department of Women Empowerment.

The objective of the workshop was to promote respect, equality, and understanding toward all genders—women, men, and other gender identities—within society. Key focus areas included ensuring equal treatment for all genders, reducing discrimination, stereotypes, and inequality, providing equal opportunities in education, health, employment, and decision-making, preventing violence and harassment against women and other gender groups, and building a just, safe, and inclusive society.

Participants included supervisors from various departments and the Department of Women Empowerment, *Gram Sathins*, multi-tasking staff from DHEW, counselors from the Pannadhay Protection and Dignity Center, and counselors from Women Safety and Counseling Centers.
