Udaipur: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Rotary Club of Pannadhay organized a cancer awareness seminar at St. Xavier’s School, located at Haridas Ji Magri.
Club Patron Rotarian Bhanu Pratap Singh stated that the objective of the programme was to spread public awareness about cancer and to educate people about its causes, preventive measures, and the importance of timely screening and early detection.
President of Rotary Club Pannadhay, Rotarian Surabhi Khatri, informed that the event was graced by District Governor Nominee Rotarian Deepak Sukhadiya (Club Advisor) as the chief guest, along with renowned medical experts from the healthcare field. Dr. Pooja Gandhi and Dr. Jaya Tantia Verma from Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital shared detailed insights on cancer prevention, early symptoms, and necessary lifestyle changes.
The programme witnessed active participation from Rotary Pannadhay Club members, including Rotarian Ashok Paliwal, Rotarian Rajesh Sharma, Rotarian Rajendra Agrawal, Rukhsana Sabunwala, Poonam Agrawal, Rotarian Anika Bhasin, and Rotarian Praveen Joshi.
The Project Chairman for the event was Rotarian Kunal Yadav, who played a key role in making the programme successful. The proceedings were conducted by Club Secretary Rotarian Tarika Bhanupratap Singh. The overall coordination of the event was effectively managed by Shubhangi Warangavkar, who also expressed gratitude to all guests and participants at the conclusion of the programme.
