Udaipur Tax Fraternity Sports Festival 2026 Concludes Successfully

Udaipur: The Udaipur Tax Fraternity Sports Festival–2026, organized by the Udaipur Tax Bar Association, concluded with great enthusiasm and dignity at Miraj Stadium, where inter-departmental cricket matches were held. The team of the Udaipur Tax Bar Association emerged as the tournament winner.
Association President CA Gautam Sukhlecha informed that the Chief Guest for the event was Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar. The tournament witnessed active participation from teams representing the Income Tax Department, Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Department, Rajsamand Tax Bar Association, and the Udaipur Tax Bar Association. All teams displayed outstanding sportsmanship and team spirit throughout the competition.
In the final match, the Udaipur Tax Bar Association team delivered an impressive performance to defeat the Income Tax Department team and claim the winner’s trophy. The Income Tax Department secured the runner-up position, while the CGST team finished third. Rajsamand Tax Bar Association was also honored as a guest team.
During the prize distribution ceremony, trophies were presented to the winner and runner-up teams by Chief Guest Shri Ji Huzoor Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar. Representatives of the Miraj Group awarded individual honors including Man of the Match, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Fielder, and Best Batsman, Bowler, and Fielder of the Series, boosting the morale of the players.
The event saw the presence of officers from various departments, office bearers and members of tax bar associations, and a large number of attendees. The primary objective of the आयोजन was to promote coordination, goodwill, team spirit, and healthy competition among members of the tax fraternity.
The successful execution of the event was made possible with the special support of CA Madhusudan Jhanwar, Arvind Jain, Rajpurohit, and Laxman Diwan from the Miraj Group. All necessary arrangements for the participants were graciously managed by the Miraj Group after the matches.
President CA Gautam Sukhlecha expressed gratitude to all guests, departmental officers, players, and supporters, and congratulated the winner and runner-up teams. He emphasized that such events play a vital role in strengthening professional relationships within the tax fraternity. Approximately 200 sports enthusiasts from various teams attended the matches at Miraj Stadium.
The event was efficiently coordinated by the Sports Committee, including CA Pankaj Jain and CA Chandraprakash Baldi, along with Association Secretary CA Ankush Jain and other office bearers and members, who worked tirelessly over the past two months. Volleyball and cricket competitions had also been organized during this period, with enthusiastic participation from officers of various departments. All tournament participants were honored with traditional turbans and mementos in recognition of their involvement and contribution.
