Operation of Udaipur–Asarwa Vande Bharat Express: A Historic Day for Udaipur, Says MP Garasia

Udaipur: Expressing his delight on the inauguration of the Udaipur–Asarwa Vande Bharat Express, Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia described the day as a historic milestone of pride, development, and trust for South Rajasthan. He said the launch of this train fulfills a long-standing expectation of the local population.
MP Garasia stated that he had been actively advocating for the introduction of this service. During the budget session, he made a special appeal to the Union Railway Minister, highlighting the region’s needs, developmental potential, and public convenience. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the government for acknowledging this request with sensitivity.
He added that the train is not just a mode of travel but a new beginning for the aspirations of youth, business growth, and tourism development in the region.
MP Garasia further urged the Railway Minister that once technical formalities are completed, the service should be extended up to Surat, which would be another significant boon for South Rajasthan and Gujarat. He emphasized that this developmental railway initiative will continue to advance without pause, driving regional growth forward.
