Grand Welcome to BJP OBC Morcha State President Dr. Mahendra Kumawat at Workers’ Conference in Udaipur

Udaipur: A grand स्वागत was accorded to Dr. Mahendra Kumawat, State President of the BJP OBC Morcha (Rajasthan), during a workers’ conference आयोजित in Udaipur. This was his first visit to the city after assuming the role of state president, where he attended the conference as the chief guest.

BJP District President Gajpat Singh Rathore described the OBC Morcha as a strong pillar and backbone of the party. He assured continuous support to members of the OBC community and emphasized coordination with the administration to address their concerns. He also said that the arrival of the state president on the sacred land of Udaipur is a matter of pride.

Pramod Samar, BJP State Working Committee member and State Convenor of the Cooperative Cell, welcomed Dr. Kumawat to the land of Mewar and expressed confidence that the party would continue to progress under his leadership. He also highlighted Dr. Kumawat’s contributions, noting that he has served in various organizational roles, including two terms as State Minister. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he facilitated medicines for around 300,000 people and contributed over ₹2.5 million to the party fund.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mahendra Kumawat stated that across the country, 138 Members of Parliament and 21 Chief Ministers belong to the OBC category. He emphasized working on the principle of Integral Humanism and said he would fulfill his responsibilities with full dedication. He highlighted that the goal is to ensure the effective implementation of government schemes such as Ayushman Yojana and Labour Card schemes at the grassroots level. He further stated that efforts would be made to reach every गांव and ensure that 100% of OBC communities benefit from these schemes.

He also stressed strengthening both central and state government schemes, working with the ideology of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, and ensuring that the party organization works collectively to expand its reach in rural areas.

According to Media In-charge Dr. Seema Champawat, Dr. Kumawat was warmly welcomed at the BJP Patel Circle office during his first visit to Udaipur, where he also addressed a workers’ dialogue program. Representatives of various communities also welcomed him later.

The welcome address at the meeting was delivered by OBC Morcha President Babulal Od. Several leaders and party members attended the conference, including Jagdish Suthar (State Vice President), Mangilal Joshi (former District President), Chhogalal Bhoi, Chhogalal Sahu, Devanarayan Dhabhai, Bhanwarlal Suhalka, Harish Kumawat, Bharat Purbia, Himanshu Purbia, Om Sen, Ramlal Sahu, Ambalal Sahu, Dheeraj Prajapat, Dinesh Purbia, Sushma Kumawat, Premchand Lohar, Anil Patel, and others.

The program was conducted by former councillor Manohar Chaudhary, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Kamlesh Prajapat, City District General Secretary of the Morcha.
