Kothari Recalls His Meeting with Late Asha Bhosle

Udaipur: Dinesh Kothari fondly recalled his meeting with the late Asha Bhosle and paid heartfelt tribute to her.

In 2017, Kothari, who was then serving as the Chief Executive Officer, had traveled to Mumbai in connection with a meeting of the Shrinathdwara Temple Board. During his visit, he went to the All India Radio center along with Ashok Tiwari, a Bhandari of the Shrinathji Temple in Bhoiwada, to meet Tiwari’s elder brother.

At that time, an interview of Asha Bhosle was being broadcast. Ashok Tiwari introduced Kothari to her. During their interaction, Asha Bhosle mentioned that she had visited Nathdwara a few years earlier, but due to a delay, the temple doors had already closed, and she could not have darshan of Shrinathji.

She expressed her strong desire to visit again soon for darshan. Asha Bhosle also took Kothari’s visiting card and showed keen interest in learning about the temple, its traditions, and its religious significance. However, due to her busy schedule, she could not make the visit.

Remembering that brief yet memorable meeting, Kothari paid his sincere respects and tribute to the late Asha Bhosle.
