Mewar's Pride Enhanced: Former Chief Engineer Narendra Dhakad Appointed National Expert in Jal Shakti Ministry

Udaipur: It is a matter of great pride for Udaipur and the Mewar region that Narendra Dhakad, former Chief Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Rajasthan, has been appointed as a National Expert (Consultant) in the Department of Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, for the year 2026–27.

Recognizing his extensive experience, technical expertise, and distinguished contributions in the fields of water resource management, drinking water supply, and sanitation, the Government of India has entrusted him with this important responsibility. His appointment is expected to strengthen the effective implementation of national initiatives related to water conservation, safe drinking water accessibility, and sanitation management.

During his tenure with the Public Health Engineering Department, Narendra Dhakad served in several key positions and played a significant role in the development of drinking water projects in both rural and urban areas.
