Udaipur: Udaipur has earned significant recognition at the Ninth State Convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad. During the convention held in Kota, noted social worker, literature enthusiast, and nationalist thinker Jaidev Singh Ujjwal was appointed as Co-Convener at the Divisional Level of the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad.
The inaugural session of the convention was graced by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla as the Chief Guest. The event featured extensive deliberations on literature, culture, organizational development, and national consciousness. New responsibilities were also assigned to office-bearers at the state, divisional, and district levels.
National Head of the Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Kiran Bala ‘Kiran’, stated that Jaidev Singh Ujjwal’s appointment is a matter of pride for the Udaipur Division. She highlighted his long-standing association with literature, social service, and activities dedicated to national welfare.
She noted that his active contributions in literary and social spheres, along with his commitment to Indian culture and national values, have earned him a distinct identity and widespread respect.
Renowned litterateur Dr. Anju Beniwal expressed confidence that under Ujjwal’s leadership, the Parishad’s activities would become more effective, expansive, and people-oriented, further strengthening the organization’s outreach and impact.
Various sessions of the convention featured addresses by National General Secretary Dr. Pawanputra Badal, Dr. Indushekhar Tatpurush, Organizational Secretary Dr. Vipin Chandra Pathak, Bharat Thakre, Dr. Annaram Sharma, Vishnu Sharma Harihar, and Keshav Sharma, who shared their perspectives on literature, organizational growth, and nation-building.
The convention witnessed participation from writers, academicians, and social workers from across Rajasthan. The participants collectively resolved to strengthen the role of literature as a powerful medium for national awakening and social transformation.
