Chief Minister Inspects Urban Service Camp in Udaipur

Udaipur/Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday inspected the Urban Service Camp organized at the Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) during his visit to Udaipur. He reviewed the arrangements at the camp and interacted with beneficiaries to obtain feedback regarding government welfare schemes and services being provided through the camp.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the State Government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes and public services reach even the last person in society. With this aim, service camps are being organized across urban and rural areas of the state to provide quick and effective solutions to public grievances.

He stated that the government is continuously working towards the economic and social empowerment of every citizen. Through these camps, issues related to lease distribution, property mutation, corrections in records, birth and death certificates, and various other revenue and civic services are being resolved. He added that follow-up camps would also be organized for cases requiring additional verification and procedural formalities.

The Chief Minister emphasized that even the smallest concerns of citizens should be addressed seriously. He instructed officials to ensure the resolution of public grievances under all circumstances and not to show any negligence in this regard. He further directed that all applications received during the camps be disposed of within the stipulated timeframe.

Sharma reiterated that the government's intention is to make essential facilities easily accessible to senior citizens, persons with disabilities, women, and other needy sections of society. He stressed that issues related to parks, roads, drainage systems, sewerage, electricity, and other urban infrastructure should be addressed on priority.

Appealing to the public, the Chief Minister urged citizens to help bring needy individuals in their neighborhoods to these camps so that no eligible person is deprived of government schemes and services. He said that the true success of such camps depends on the coordinated participation of public representatives, government officials, employees, and citizens.

During the programme, a development booklet prepared by Nimbahera MLA Shrichand Kripalani was also released.

Among those present on the occasion were Tribal Area Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Revenue and Colonization Minister and District In-charge Hemant Meena, Udaipur City MLA Tarachand Jain, Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Vallabhnagar MLA Udaylal Dangi, Nimbahera MLA Shrichand Kripalani, Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, Inspector General of Police Gaurav Srivastava, District Collector Gaurav Agrawal, UDA Commissioner Abhishek Khanna, social worker Pushkar Teli, Gajpal Singh Rathore, along with several public representatives, officials, and citizens.

Distribution of Benefits and Inspection of Stalls

Earlier, the Chief Minister distributed benefits under various government schemes. On behalf of the Udaipur Development Authority, lease deeds were handed over to Naresh Jain and Santosh Audichya, a building construction approval certificate was presented to Rameshwar Lal Sukhwal, and a land-use conversion certificate was given to Khemraj Dangi.

The Municipal Corporation distributed lease deeds under Section 69A to Shakuntala Swami, Sanjay Tamboli, Dinesh Agrawal, and Mahendra Mehta, while Sohanlal Chandel received a trade licence.

Under the Rajeevika programme, Sapna and Geeta of Padmavati CLF, Bhuvana, were presented with a grant assistance cheque of ₹1.05 crore. Through the Lead Bank, Saurabh Singh received a loan sanction cheque of ₹1.20 crore for mushroom cultivation.

The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment provided Salim Mohammad with a cheque of ₹41,000 under the Chief Minister’s Kanyadan Scheme. Additionally, Narayani Bai, a person with disability, received a wheelchair, while Khemraj Gameti was provided with a smart cane.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the State Government’s welfare initiatives. During his visit, the Chief Minister also inspected various departmental stalls and reviewed the status of grievance redressal and applications submitted by citizens.
