Tribal Daughters of Mewar Making a Mark, Felicitated by Renowned Journalist Rubika Liyaquat

Udaipur: Renowned television journalist and anchor **Rubika Liyaquat**, who was born, raised, and educated in Udaipur, visited **Maharana Pratap Sports Village** during her stay in the city. During the visit, she observed a **lacrosse training camp** and interacted with **international and national medal-winning players** as well as coach **Neeraj Batra**.

Rubika Liyaquat openly praised the significant contribution of players from the **tribal regions of Mewar** to Rajasthan’s remarkable achievements in the sport of lacrosse. She also appreciated the efforts of the **Rajasthan Government** and the **Udaipur administration**, under the leadership of **Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani**, for the development of lacrosse and the advancement of athletes by providing facilities, encouragement, and institutional support. She shared her experience from the visit on her social media platforms as well.

On the occasion, **former Ranji Trophy cricketer Liyaquat Amar**, **Majid Amar**, **Rajneesh Sharma**, social worker **Siddharth Sharma**, **District Sports Officer Dr. Mahesh Paliwal**, coaches from the sports village, and several sports enthusiasts were present.

Players of the **Indian Lacrosse Team**, including **Sunita Meena, Mohanlal, Jula Kumari Gurjar, Dali Gameti, Khuma Ram, and Meera Douja**, warmly welcomed **Rubika Liyaquat** and her father **Liyaquat Amar** during the event.
