Udaipur Scouts and Rovers to Be Honoured with State Award by the Governor

Udaipur: Under the auspices of the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides State Headquarters, Jaipur, the State Award Scout, Guide, Rover and Ranger Award Ceremony will be organized from 9 to 12 February at the State Training Centre, Jagatpura, Jaipur.
District Organization Commissioner (Scout) Surendra Kumar Pandey informed that for the year 2025–26, 115 Scouts and 11 Rovers from Udaipur district, and 27 Scouts from Salumber district, have successfully cleared the evaluation process for the State Award Scout and Rover.
To represent the district at the State Award Scout and Rover Award Ceremony, the following have been selected from among the successful Scouts and Rovers across the district:
From The Scholar Arena Senior Secondary School, R.K. Puram, Sector-09 – Scouts Gagan Salvi (son of Harish Salvi), Maulik Garasia (son of Dinesh Kumar), and Manan Menaria (son of Yashwant Menaria);
from The Vision Academy Senior Secondary School, Udaipur – Scout Mridul Puri Goswami (son of Tushant Puri Goswami);
and from the Headquarters Open Rover Crew – Rover Virendra Singh Chundawat (son of Ummed Singh Chundawat).
As the district in-charge, Scouter and Senior Training Counsellor Bhagwati Lal Sahu of The Scholar Arena Senior Secondary School will lead the delegation. Under his leadership, four Scouts and one Rover will represent the district at the state level and uphold the district’s honour.
Pandey further stated that during the State Award Scout and Rover Award Ceremony, the participating Scouts and Rovers will undergo a detailed evaluation process. Those who successfully clear the process will be awarded the State Award Scout and Rover Certificates by the Honourable Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Haribhau Bagade. Other Scouts will also actively participate in the festival. Senior state organization officials, public representatives, education officers, and other distinguished guests will be present on the occasion.
He added that the Scouts will participate in activities such as march-past, camp craft, gadgets, uniform inspection, proficiency badges, records of unit achievements, photo albums, and exhibition materials, and will also present Mewar folk songs and folk dances, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Mewar.
Prior to the ceremony, under the leadership of District Organization Commissioner Surendra Kumar Pandey, necessary preparations and guidelines were provided to all Scouts at the District Headquarters located at Surajpol. Detailed instructions regarding activities to be held during the award ceremony and the required materials were shared, along with best wishes for their success. Dr. Bhagwati Lal Sahu was present on the occasion and extended his cooperation.
