Jain Social Group ‘Main’ Udaipur Celebrates 29th Charter Day with Enthusiasm

Udaipur: The 29th Charter Day of Jain Social Group 'Main' Udaipur was celebrated with great enthusiasm and entertainment in the presence of Chief Guest Arun Mandot (President, Mewar Region Udaipur), R.C. Mehta (Vice President, JSGIF), and Special Guest Paras Dhelawat (Chairman Elect).
Media in-charge Professor Vimal Sharma informed that the program began with a traditional welcome of all members by applying tilak and offering sweets. This was followed by laughter yoga, collective chanting of the Navkar Mantra, a group prayer by Mrs. Rama Sacheti and Lalita Babel, and the Federation Sutra recitation by Dr. Pramila Jain.
Program anchor Mrs. Usha Dak invited the dignitaries to the stage, including Arun Mandot, R.C. Mehta, Anil Nahar (ID and Past President), Mohan Bohra (Past President), Paras Dhelawat (President Elect), K.S. Nalwaya (Group President), Kamal Kothari (Vice President), Shantilal Mehta (Immediate Past President), and Gautam Kumar Nagori (Secretary). The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.
Group President K.S. Nalwaya extended heartfelt greetings to the chief guest, special guests, office bearers of the Oswal Sabha, and all member couples on the occasion of the 29th Charter Day, as well as Maha Shivratri and Holi-Dhulandi. He also congratulated members and couples celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries in January and February and expressed gratitude to Arun Mandot for his official visit. The guests were honored with traditional mementos.
President Nalwaya highlighted that since April 2025, the group has conducted 158 service activities amounting to ₹12,02,100 and organized 31 other programs. He expressed sincere thanks to all donors and members for their contributions. Special appreciation was extended to Shantilal Mehta, Kamal Kothari, Ashok Nagori, Narendra Seth, Rajendra Khokhawat, Anil Chaplot, Khyalilal Sisodia, Gautam Nagori, and Roshan Dugad for their support in service initiatives.
As part of the entertainment segment, six dance performances were presented with the participation of Mrs. Sushma Jain, Asha Mogra, Asha Singhvi, Prabha Jain, Vimla Soni, Mehtab Hiran, and Sharda Talesara.
In their addresses, the dignitaries praised the group’s service activities and the well-organized entertainment program, extending their best wishes and appreciation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice President Kamal Kothari, who invited all guests and members for dinner. The program ended with the National Anthem, followed by a delightful meal enjoyed by all attendees.
