District-Level Task Force Meeting Organized

Udaipur: Under the aegis of the Women Empowerment Department, a district-level task force meeting was held on Tuesday at the Mini Conference Hall of the Collectorate. The meeting covered the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ campaign, the One Stop Center, and the District Women Assistance Committee. It was conducted under the direction of the District Collector and chaired by Additional District Collector (City) Jitendra Ojha.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on promoting girls’ education, improving the child sex ratio, and preventing social evils such as child marriage under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative.
Deputy Director of the Women Empowerment Department, Sanjay Joshi, presented a progress report on departmental schemes. He informed that through the One Stop Center operating in the district, distressed women are being provided with counseling, legal aid, medical assistance, and temporary shelter facilities under one roof. He further stated that various awareness programs are being continuously organized to ensure women’s safety and empowerment.
The meeting also reviewed cases under the District Women Assistance Committee, and instructions were issued for the speedy disposal of pending cases. ADM Ojha directed concerned departments to work in coordination and ensure the effective implementation of schemes. He emphasized that ensuring the education, safety, and dignity of girls is a top administrative priority and requires the active participation of all departments.
