Inspection of Sub-Jails Jhadol and Kotda

Udaipur: Following the directives of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, Jaipur and District Legal Services Authority Chairman Gyan Prakash Gupta, Authority Secretary ADJ Kuldeep Sharma conducted a surprise inspection of the sub-jails at Jhadol and Kotda.

During the inspection, the secretary reviewed the provision of free legal aid to inmates, access to appeal medical services, quality of meals and snacks, visitation facilities, STD services, availability of drinking water, and cleanliness and facilities in toilets and urinals. The inspection also assessed whether inmates’ basic needs and rights were being adequately met.
