Udaipur – Excise Commissioner Namit Mehta emphasized that departmental work should be completed within stipulated timelines through proper coordination, in line with the expectations of the state government. He stated that there should be no negligence in the discharge of official duties and that departmental targets must be achieved with discipline and a strong team spirit.
Mr. Mehta was addressing a review meeting of officers and staff from various sections at the Excise Headquarters auditorium in Udaipur on Monday. He highlighted that the Excise Department plays a crucial role in the state government’s revenue, and therefore, financial targets along with all essential tasks must be completed within the निर्धारित timeframe.
During the meeting, officers and staff from different sections introduced themselves and provided detailed information about their assigned responsibilities and work. Representatives from sections such as Settlement, IT, Prosecution, EPF, General Administration, Establishment, Legal, Hologram, Control Room, RTI, Laboratory, Accounts, APAR, and Policy shared updates on their work and highlighted their requirements.
Excise Commissioner Mehta instructed all officers to work in coordination and also invited suggestions to ensure timely disposal of official work. On the occasion, Additional Excise Commissioner (Policy) Pradeep Singh Sangawat, Financial Advisor Sunita Vijay, Deputy Commissioner (EPF) Pradyumna Singh Chundawat, along with officers and staff from various sections, were present.
