BJP Foundation Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm and Patriotism in Udaipur

Udaipur – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Foundation Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and warmth by the Udaipur City District unit. The event, led by District President Gajpal Singh Rathore, saw the presence of Cabinet Minister Babulal Kharadi, State Vice President Narendra Puniya as the chief speaker, Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya, MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat, MLA Tarachand Jain, rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, former MP Arjun Lal Meena, former Mayor Rajni Dangi, GS Ravindra Shrimali, along with numerous public representatives, office-bearers, and a large number of party workers.

The program began with lighting of lamps and floral tributes before pictures of the party’s pioneers and founders, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony. Patriotic fervor filled the air as attendees sang Vande Mataram in unison, accompanied by band music and patriotic songs.

In his address, Cabinet Minister Babulal Kharadi said, “Our goal is to restore Bharat Mata to her ancient glory. The party’s core principle is ‘Nation First’. BJP’s dedicated workers serve not for position, but out of commitment to the nation and service.”

State Vice President Veerendra Poonia, the chief speaker, highlighted the party’s journey, stating, “Today we celebrate the 47th Foundation Day. This 47-year journey from Jan Sangh to BJP reflects the struggles, sacrifices, and dedication of our great leaders. Achievements like the abrogation of Article 370 and the construction of the Ram Temple show that what once seemed impossible can be accomplished through determination and service.”

District President Gajpal Singh Rathore welcomed the guests and workers, emphasizing that BJP is the largest party in the world, and its workers are the strong foundation of the organization. Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya stated that BJP is the largest democratic party globally, and the world now looks at India with hope, thanks to the selfless dedication and discipline of senior party workers. MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat highlighted that BJP remains committed to the Constitution and democracy, and the philosophy of ‘Nation First’ is unique to the party.

Media in-charge Dr. Seema Champawat noted that senior party workers contributing to national service, social welfare, and promotion of party policies were honored during the event. The program was successfully organized by coordinator Digvijay Shrimali and his team of co-coordinators, with General Secretary Paras Singhvi conducting the proceedings.

As part of the celebration, the Women’s Front hosted Mehndi and Rangoli activities. The program concluded with the National Anthem, patriotic songs, distribution of sweets and fruits, and participants exchanged greetings for Foundation Day.

Notable attendees included district office-bearers Devnarayan Davai, Karan Singh Shaktawar, Jagdish Sharma, Hans Mali, Shambhu Committee, Siddharth Sharma, Prakash Agrawal, Hazari Jain, Tushar Mehta, Ashok Sharma, Sapna Kurdiya, Dr. Seema Champawat, Govind Dixit, Manohar Choudhary, Om Parik, Krishnakant Kumawat, Pratibha Nagda, as well as State-level Women’s Front representatives Dr. Sony Ka Jain and President Kavita Joshi, and Youth Front member Surendra Singh.

Looking ahead, the STSC Front will distribute Parinda (bird feeders), and various fronts will conduct cleanliness drives across the city as part of community engagement.
