Udaipur: On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the Udaipur Chapter of Time Bank of India organized a heartwarming program on Sunday at Tara Sansthan Old Age Home located in Sector-14.
The program was presided over by Krishna Kant Sharma, City Admin of Time Bank Udaipur. Regional Admin Kapoor Chandra Jain, Mrs. Renu Mathur, and Manohar Chelani were present as special guests on the occasion. The event was skillfully conducted by Sanjay Gupta.
Media In-charge Professor Vimal Sharma informed that around 40 members of Time Bank spent four hours (3 PM to 7 PM) with the elderly residents of the ashram, helping to ease their loneliness. Entertaining activities including games, Bollywood songs, devotional bhajans, and humorous performances created a cheerful atmosphere and brought renewed joy among the residents.
During the program, the elderly residents were served fruits and sweets. Financial assistance was also provided for arranging meals at the old age home on the occasion of Ekadashi. Some members of the organization will again visit the ashram on that day to personally participate in serving food.
At the conclusion of the event, Tara Sansthan expressed gratitude to all participants and served refreshments. On behalf of Time Bank, Prem Singh Solanki delivered the vote of thanks.
