Public Grievances Heard, Instructions Issued for Immediate Resolution

Udaipur: The district-level public hearing and Vigilance Committee meeting was held on Thursday at the Collectorate Mini Conference Hall under the chairmanship of District Collector Gaurav Agrawal. Public grievances were heard seriously and sensitively during the session. More than 166 complaints related to various departments were received during the hearing.

On the instructions of District Collector Gaurav Agrawal, a two-tier grievance redressal system was arranged. Complaints submitted during the hearing were categorized into two groups. Copies of complaints related to departmental matters were provided to the respective district-level officers of concerned departments.

At the hearing venue itself, the concerned officers listened to the complainants and initiated necessary action to provide relief wherever possible. District Collector Agrawal also personally took feedback from several complainants regarding their issues and the action taken.

Similarly, for grievances related to sub-divisional areas, the District Collector interacted with Sub-Divisional Officers through video conferencing and directed them to ensure prompt resolution. This initiative proved effective in addressing problems from rural areas on the spot.

District Collector Agrawal instructed all officials to resolve complaints with complete sensitivity, transparency, and within a fixed timeframe so that the public could receive quick relief.

Prior to the public hearing, the District Collector also chaired the Vigilance Committee meeting, where he reviewed the progress of pending cases registered with the committee and issued necessary directions.

During the meeting, ADM Administration Deependra Singh Rathore, ADM City Jitendra Ojha, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abhishek Khanna, Girwa SDM Avula Sai Krishna, along with officers from various departments, were present. All SDMs and block-level officers of the district also joined the public hearing virtually.
