Udaipur: Surrounded by lush green trees, cool breezes, and the melodious chirping of birds, the scenic embankment of Jogi Talab at Titardi (Girwa-Udaipur) transformed into a hub of wellness and tranquility on Thursday morning. In the midst of nature’s beauty, a Block-Level Yoga Protocol Rehearsal Programme was successfully organized jointly by the Department of AYUSH and the Girwa Sub-Divisional Administration in preparation for the 12th International Day of Yoga.
The serene waters of the lake, abundant greenery, and clean environment enhanced the yoga experience, making the practice both energizing and deeply refreshing.
Dr. Dilip Samaliya, Block Yoga Nodal Officer, Department of Ayurveda, Girwa, stated that “Yoga is India’s invaluable cultural heritage and a means of achieving holistic development of the body, mind, and soul. Practicing yoga in a natural environment strengthens an individual’s connection with nature while fostering inner peace and positive energy.”
Addressing the participants, Block Development Officer (BDO) Ajit Kumar Meena emphasized that regular yoga practice not only improves physical health but also promotes mental well-being, positive thinking, and a balanced lifestyle. He encouraged all citizens to make yoga an integral part of their daily routine.
The yoga session was conducted by experienced yoga instructors Pritam Singh Chundawat, Ankita Vasita, Neelu Goswami, and Roshan Ratadiya, who guided participants through the prescribed yoga protocol and wellness practices.
