Udaipur: The “Urban and Rural Service Camps – 2026,” being organized across Rajasthan under the directions of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, are proving to be a significant source of relief for citizens by ensuring prompt resolution of public grievances and effective delivery of government services at the grassroots level.
In Udaipur district, the camps are being conducted under the guidance of District Collector Gaurav Agrawal and have generated considerable enthusiasm among rural residents. On Thursday, service camps were organized in the gram panchayats of Chanbora, Gudli, Lakhawali, Palana Kalan, Warni, Balathal, Kheroda, Samija, Diwan, Badrana, Damana, Som, Garanwas, Karcha, Pogar Kala, Pahada, Bhudhar, Dhadhmata, Lamba Haldu, and Mandwa. Similar camps are also being conducted by the Urban Development Authority (UDA), Municipal Corporation, and municipalities across the district.
With services from 22 government departments available under one roof, the camps are providing substantial convenience to the public. Matters related to revenue, local self-government, Panchayati Raj, rural development, health, social welfare, agriculture, and electricity are being resolved on the spot.
Significant Outcomes in Mavli Sub-Division
Service camps were held in Palana Kalan and Warni under the Mavli Sub-Division. Under the supervision of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Ramesh Seervi Punadiya, mutations were carried out as per the e-Dharti Portal records. Eight cases were resolved through mutual consent, while 14 revenue records and land accounts were corrected. Eight pathway-related cases were also settled.
During the camp, 34 livestock owners benefited from various government schemes. Hiru Bai, wife of Lachhi Ram and a resident of Gram Panchayat Warni, was provided benefits under the Social Security Pension Scheme on the spot.
Tehsildar Ghassa Radheshyam Joshi, Block Development Officer Shailendra P. Khinchi, and other block-level officials were present during the camp.
Distribution of Mangla Livestock Insurance Policies
A Rural Service Camp was also organized in Gram Panchayat Kheroda under Bhinder Tehsil. Livestock owners including Lalita Bai Menaria, Kiran Devi, Rekha Devi, Laxmi Devi, Vidya Khatik, Pratap Kunwar, and Laxmi Janwa received insurance policies under the Chief Minister Mangla Livestock Insurance Scheme.
Officials and staff of the Animal Husbandry Department provided information on the scheme, Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccination, deworming of livestock, and proper animal care and nutrition.
Similarly, at the service camp held in Bhudhar under Rishabhdeo, livestock owner Mangli, wife of Magan Patel, was provided insurance coverage for two buffaloes under the Chief Minister Mangla Livestock Insurance Scheme.
Camps Scheduled for Friday
Under the ongoing campaign, service camps will be organized on Friday in the gram panchayats of Kaya, Kot, Bhutala, Mahuda, Palana Khurd, Dhamania, Baggad, Chhali, Dhol, Gogla, Godana, Katarwas, Karawada, Pipli-A, Koliya, Kodarmal, and Junapadar.
Additionally, the UDA, Municipal Corporation, and municipalities will conduct camps in designated urban wards to facilitate access to government services and grievance redressal for citizens.
