Udaipur: Talented swimmer Vidhi Sanadhya of Udaipur has been selected to represent Rajasthan at the upcoming Senior National Swimming Championship.
District Sports Officer Dr. Mahesh Paliwal informed that Vidhi will participate in the Senior National Swimming Championship scheduled to be held in Ahmedabad from June 16 to June 21. Her selection comes on the back of an outstanding recent performance.
Vidhi recently set a new Rajasthan state record in the 100-meter Breaststroke event at the Senior State Swimming Championship held in Jaipur. Her remarkable achievement earned her a place in the Rajasthan senior team for the national competition.
Vidhi is currently undergoing intensive training in swimming at Maharana Pratap Khelgaon, Udaipur, under the “One District One Sport” programme, which is being implemented under the Rajasthan Government’s “Panch Gaurav Yojana.”
Congratulating Vidhi on her achievement, Joint Director of the Department of Economics and Statistics, Punit Sharma, the City Treasury Officer, officials from the District Collector’s Office, Rajasthan Swimming Association Secretary Vinod Sanadhya, and former District Sports Officer Vikram Singh Chandela expressed their happiness and best wishes.
Members of the District Swimming Association, including Chandragupt Singh Chauhan and Dilip Singh Chauhan, along with coaches and sports enthusiasts from Maharana Pratap Khelgaon, also congratulated Vidhi and wished her success in the championship.

All have conveyed their best wishes and expressed hope that Vidhi will bring glory to Rajasthan by winning a gold medal at the national championship.
