Udaipur: Two special workshops focusing on creativity, self-awareness, and personality development were organized for B.Ed. and Integrated Course students in the Department of Education at Mohanlal Sukhadia University. The workshops aimed to help students understand themselves better and enhance their expression skills through art, drama, mime, storytelling, yoga, and meditation.
The “Art and Drama” workshop, held under the B.Ed. second-year curriculum, was inaugurated by renowned mime artist and storyteller Vilas Janve and Kiran Janvi as the chief guests. The program began with a welcome address by Dean of the Faculty of Education Dr. Alpana Singh. Dr. Kumud Purohit introduced the guests.
During the workshop, Dr. Swati Lodha, Dr. Nisha Singhvi, and other faculty members provided students with insights on various topics. The session was conducted by Dr. Nisha Singhvi.
Faculty members including Dr. Tamanna Soni, Dr. Meena Purbia, Dr. Anupa Sharma, Dr. Anju Vyas, Dr. Chanchal Nagda, Dr. Himanshu Bhatt, Dr. Kirti Jain, Mrs. Kiran Ranawat, and Mrs. Asha Dangi were also present during the event.
In continuation, another workshop titled “Understanding the Self” was organized for first-year students of the Integrated Course. The objective of the workshop was to create awareness among students about self-awareness, mental balance, and a positive lifestyle.
Students were introduced to topics related to yoga, meditation, and self-reflection by Dr. Alpana Singh, Dr. Sapna Mawatwal, Dr. Kumud Purohit, and Dr. Himanshu Bhatt.
Students actively participated in both workshops and gained enriching experiences related to creativity and personal development.
