Freshers’ Party and Farewell Ceremony Organized at Venkateshwar Institute of Pharmacy

Udaipur. Venkateshwar Institute of Pharmacy, Sai Tirupati University, hosted a vibrant Freshers’ and Farewell celebration along with World Pharmacists Day at Atal Auditorium, Hiran Magri, Sector-4. The event beautifully combined the spirit of new beginnings with heartfelt goodbyes.

The program was presided over by Dr. Khemchand Gupta, Head of Department. It commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by lively performances, interactive activities, and a ramp walk by the freshers’ batch of 2024-25. Seniors from the 2021-22 batch were given an emotional farewell through touching speeches and memorable performances.

Distinguished guests included Dr. Prashant Nahar, President of Sai Tirupati University; Dr. Bharat Parashar, Dean (PG); Dr. Vijaysingh Rawat, Principal of Nursing; Dr. Yunis Mohammad, Principal of Physiotherapy; and Dr. V.K. Mittal, Principal of Ayurveda, who graced the occasion as chief guests.

The evening was filled with joy, music, and dance, as students showcased their talents and created lasting memories. In the ramp walk competition, Tushar Songara and Lakshita Sahu from the second semester were crowned Mr. and Miss Fresher.

The program marked a successful celebration of transition—welcoming new students to their academic journey and bidding farewell to graduating students with a video presentation of their memorable time in the Pharmacy Department. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Pakhuri Mehta.
