PIMS Mewar Cup Season 4: GCA Defeats Delhi Challengers by Three Runs in a Thrilling Match

Udaipur: In the PIMS Mewar Cup Season 4, jointly organized by Pacific Hospital, Vinay Cricket Club, and Leela Foundation, GCA defeated Delhi Challengers by a narrow margin of three runs in a thrilling encounter played on Friday. Despite a brilliant century by IPL player Deepak Hooda, Delhi Challengers could not secure victory.

In the afternoon match, GCA posted a massive total of 242 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Saurabh Chauhan scored 63 runs off 26 balls, while Harshal contributed a quick 64 off 20 balls. Ravi Bishnoi added 18 runs off just five balls. For Delhi Challengers, Prashant Bhati and Yash Chaudhary picked up three wickets each.

In response, Delhi Challengers got off to a strong start. Deepak Hooda played a sensational knock of 102 runs off just 43 balls, smashing six sixes and 14 fours. However, he could not take his team across the finish line. Harshal claimed three wickets to help GCA clinch the victory in a nail-biting finish.

Earlier in the morning match, Balaji Construction were bowled out for 110 runs in 18.1 overs. In reply, Udaipur Lake City Warriors chased down the target comfortably in just 8.5 overs, losing four wickets. Mahipal Lomror played a blazing innings of 17 balls, hitting seven sixes and two fours to seal the win. Rahul Khandelwal took two wickets for Balaji Construction.

A large crowd gathered at the Field Club ground to watch their favorite IPL players up close. The atmosphere was electrifying, with enthusiastic cheering and continuous applause amid a flurry of boundaries and sixes.
