Udaipur: Giving a new direction to healthcare services in South Rajasthan, PIMS City Hospital has inaugurated the region’s first and only state-of-the-art DIGITAL PET CT Scan machine. The machine is capable of conducting scans with an accuracy of 0.1 mm, making it highly effective for the early and precise diagnosis of cancer and several other serious diseases.
The advanced machine was inaugurated by Leela Devi Agrawal, Chairman Ashish Agrawal, Chairperson Sheetal Agrawal, and Chief Executive Officer Naman Agrawal. A team of experienced cancer specialists was also present on the occasion, including Dr. Quraish Bhambhora, Dr. Sumit Agrawal, Mamta Lodha, and senior physician Dr. J.K. Chaparwal.
The hospital management stated that this advanced technology will significantly reduce the need for patients to travel to major metropolitan cities for such diagnostic services. Patients from Udaipur and South Rajasthan will now have access to world-class diagnostic facilities within their own city. The facility will also be available under the RGHS and Bhamashah schemes, enabling a larger number of patients to benefit from modern diagnostic services.
DIGITAL PET CT Scan technology helps detect abnormal cells and cancerous conditions inside the body at a highly microscopic level. With the help of this new machine, doctors will be able to assess the exact stage of diseases and prepare faster and more effective treatment plans.
Chief Executive Officer Naman Agrawal said that this facility would prove highly beneficial not only for South Rajasthan but also for patients from nearby districts and neighboring states. All guests and doctors described this new facility as a significant achievement in the field of healthcare services.
