Drug Awareness Workshop Organized at Kikerwali Senior School

Sri Ganganagar: Under the ongoing “Drug-Free Sri Ganganagar” campaign led by District Collector Dr. Manju and District Police Superintendent Dr. Amrita Duhan, a drug awareness workshop was organized at Kikerwali Senior Secondary School. The program saw participation not only from students but also from teachers and parents in large numbers.

During the workshop, Mr. Vikram Jiyani from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment emphasized that drug abuse is not just a habit, but a destructive disease that can steal one’s identity. He explained, using emotional and logical examples, how drug addiction slowly consumes dreams, shatters family expectations, and isolates a person from society.

The school principal, Ambreesh Kumar, stated that the workshop was not merely an event but a call for awareness, as the future is shaped by those who do not get lost to addiction and make the right choices at the right time.

The students collectively pledged to stay away from drugs, encourage their friends to do the same, and build their identities through hard work, character, and service.
