Ayurveda Camp Inspected by Officials; Will Continue Until 6 February

Sri Ganganagar: A 10-day free Ayurvedic *Ksharsutra* treatment camp for piles (*Arsh*) and fistula (*Bhagandar*), organized by the National AYUSH Mission and the Rajasthan Ayurveda Department in collaboration with the district administration, is underway at the Sanatan Dharma Temple, L Block Hanuman Mandir, and will continue until 6 February.

Camp in-charge Dr. Rajkumar Parik stated that since the camp began on 28 January, Ayurvedic *Ksharsutra* surgeries have been performed on 25 patients suffering from piles and fistula. So far, 112 patients have registered for treatment. Registration will remain open until 1 February. After registration, patients undergo free tests, including blood investigations, before receiving treatment through the *Ksharsutra* surgical method using Ayurvedic medicinal threads.

On Friday, the camp was inspected by Dr. Mohan Singh Meena, Regional Head of the Directorate of Ayurveda, along with Deputy Director Dr. Radheshyam, and Assistant Regional Director Dr. Jitendra Singh Bhati. Officials expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and also collected feedback from admitted and OPD patients.

The Regional Additional Director appreciated adherence to SOPs and cleanliness at the camp and motivated the working staff. Deputy Director Dr. Krishna Chandra Arora briefed the officials about the camp’s functioning.

Registration, examination, and *Ksharsutra* treatment for patients with piles, fistula, and other anorectal disorders will continue until the end of the camp. Patients are encouraged to register early to avoid inconvenience and make full use of the services. Assistant Camp In-charge Dr. Jitendra Kumar added that today, 198 patients benefited from consultations and medicines provided in the gynecology and other OPD sections.
