Executive Committee of Government Polytechnic College Alumni Association Formed

Sri Ganganagar: A general assembly was held on Monday at Government Polytechnic College (Chaudhary Maluram Bhambhu) under the chairmanship of Principal Pradeep Kumar Rai to formally establish the Alumni Association. The meeting was organized by Alumni Coordinator Dr. Ajit Kumar Somani and Co-Coordinator Dr. Dheeraj Kishore Johar, and began with a traditional prayer to Goddess Saraswati.
The proposal for forming and naming the association was unanimously approved. The draft constitution was discussed point by point, finalized, and formally passed. Following this, elections were held according to the positions specified in the constitution, resulting in the formation of the first executive committee of the Alumni Association (2026–29).
The elected office-bearers are:
•    Manish Chugh – President
•    Anil Kumar Khati – Vice President
•    Shishpal – Secretary
•    Gurmander Singh – Joint Secretary
•    Ravi Kumar – Treasurer
•    Hem Singh – Organization and Publicity Minister
Additionally, Sandeep Kumar, Sushil Kumar, Kamalkanta, Karamjeet Singh, and Praveen Kumar were elected as committee members. The newly formed committee members took an oath of office, confidentiality, and commitment to the constitution.
The event concluded with the principal and staff members honoring the newly elected office-bearers with garlands and bestowing their best wishes for a successful tenure. Department Head Neeru Goyal stated that the Alumni Association will serve to strengthen dialogue, collaboration, and developmental activities between the college and its former students, providing a new direction for progress.
