UDAIPUR,The 113th birth anniversary of revered Jain saint Tap Samrat Keshulal Muni will be celebrated with a Gunanuvad Sabha on Sunday, Aug. 9, at Keshavdham, Mahavir Bhavan, Bhupalpura.
Mahesh Bamb, president of Keshavdham Seva Sansthan, said the event will feature the presence and blessings of Shraman Sangh Pravartak Pujya Dr. Rajendra Muni, Chaitanya Muni and Kaivalya Muni, Uppravartini Manjul Jyoti Sadhvi and other members of the Thana-5 group, along with Sadhvis Sheetal and Shruti, disciples of Subhadra Muni.
Sthanakvasi Sangh President Narendra Choudhary said a Gautam Prasadi community meal will be served following the religious program.
Media coordinator Sampat Bapna said a separate Gautam Prasadi will also be organized at Ashadham in Mallatalai. Rajendra Samar is sponsoring the offering.
The program will be chaired by Dr. B.S. Bamb. Distinguished guests will include Dr. Rewant Singhvi, R.K. Jain and Kantilal Jain.
Sunil Bapna, director of Keshavdham Seva Sansthan, said Keshulal Muni was a highly revered ascetic who followed the teachings and path of Lord Mahavira throughout his life. He undertook numerous prolonged austerities and inspired devotees to practice penance, meditation, charity and nonviolence. Bapna described him as a saint whose presence brought peace and whose memorial shrine continues to attract devotees seeking spiritual solace and fulfillment of their prayers.
