Udaipur: The West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, organised the ‘Hivda Ri Hook’ programme on Sunday evening at the Banjara Manch, Shilpgram, Udaipur, providing a vibrant platform for tourists and the general public to showcase their artistic talents.

WZCC Director Dr. Ashwin M. Dalvi said that the programme is part of the Centre’s continuing efforts to introduce new initiatives and provide opportunities to talented individuals who possess artistic skills but often lack a platform to perform.

The evening featured a diverse range of performances. Piyush opened the programme with a story about a jailer and his son, followed by Chandrasingh Sankhla, who presented the patriotic song Jo Shaheed Hue Hain Unki. Kritika captivated the audience with Kahin Door Jab Din Dhal Jaye, performed on the ukulele, while Vikas presented Ye Hausla Kaise Jhuke.

Other performances included songs by Dayaram Suthar, Pankaj, Rakesh, Mangilal and Arvind. WZCC Assistant Director (Finance & Accounts) Durgesh Chandwani presented Hai Preet Jahan Ki Reet Sada. Siddhant Bhatnagar recited his original poem Khud Ki Khud Se Baat, while Ashutosh Pandey also presented a poem.

Naresh Panwar presented the ghazal Duniya Kisi Ke Pyar Mein Jannat Se Kam Nahin. The programme was hosted by Amit Vyas.

The evening concluded with WZCC Director Dr. Ashwin M. Dalvi presenting Tum Bin Mora Jiya Lage Na.

The unique feature of ‘Hivda Ri Hook’ is that it provides a stage to people who have talent and artistic potential but do not otherwise get an opportunity to perform before an audience.
