Kota: Under **Operation Gurudvyuh**, Station House Officer (CI) Ramkishan Godara of Bhimganj Mandi Police Station, Kota City, has arrested a 26-year-old opium husk smuggler and associate carrying a reward of ₹10,000. The arrested accused has been identified as **Rohit Meena**, a resident of Baran district.
Kota City Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam informed that on **July 16, 2025**, during routine patrolling, Nayapura Police Station, Kota City, seized **11 kilograms and 905 grams of illegal narcotic substance (opium husk/doda chura)** from the possession of accused **Mohan Ram** at Nagaji ka Bagh, Nayapura. Mohan Ram was arrested earlier in the case as per legal procedure.
During investigation, accused Mohan Ram revealed that the seized opium husk had been purchased from **Rohit Meena**. When police attempted to trace Rohit Meena during the course of investigation, he was found absconding from his residence.
Subsequently, under Operation Gurudvyuh, a police team led by CI Ramkishan Godara successfully arrested the accused. The police team included Constables **Lokesh Kumar, Mukesh, Dinesh, and Gopal**.
Further investigation in the case is ongoing.
