Police Inspector Ramkishan Godara’s Major Action: History-sheeter Arrested with Illegal Weapon

 

Kota: In a major breakthrough under the ongoing special campaign to curb crime in the city, Police Inspector Ramkishan Godara achieved significant success. Kota Police arrested a history-sheeter from the Bhimganj Mandi police station area with an illegal country-made pistol and a live cartridge.

Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam stated that a special अभियान (campaign) is being conducted in the district in view of the rising incidents of illegal possession and use of firearms. This action was carried out under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police Dilip Kumar Saini and the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police Dr. Poonam.

A team formed under the leadership of Station House Officer Ramkishan Godara of Bhimganj Mandi Police Station intercepted a suspect during patrol on April 8 near Ajay Ahuja Park. Upon searching him, the police recovered an illegal country-made pistol and a live cartridge.

The accused has been identified as Mohammad Imran alias Golu (31), a resident of Nehru Nagar, Kota, who is reportedly a history-sheeter of the Bhimganj Mandi police station.

Police have arrested the accused under Section 3/25 of the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway regarding the source of the illegal weapon and any possible planned criminal activities.
